Sell Price Hierarchy

The below topic describes the Sell Price Hierarchy in BBS.

Please Note the following points:

•The last valid price found is the suggested sell price for a customer/product/quantity combination

•A price is only considered valid if it is not $0.00

• Where a tick appears in the Variant Parent Pricing Inherits column, the variant parent product will be searched for and this price will be used unless a valid price of the same type is found on the variant child product.

Sell Now Price	•If the customer has purchased the product before •Use Sell Now Prices is enabled in System Parameter Maintenance
Catalogue Price	•Use Catalogue Prices is enabled in System Parameter Maintenance •Customer is set to Catalogue Price in Customer Masterfile Maintenance
Discount Catalogue Price	•As above, and customer default discount is not 0.00%
Catalogue Price Volume Pricing	•As above, the quantity is greater than or equal to a quantity break •Use Volume Pricing is enabled in System Parameter Maintenance
Government Price	•Use Catalogue Prices is enabled in System Parameter Maintenance •Customer is set to Government Price in Customer Masterfile Maintenance
Discount Government Price	•As above, and customer default discount is not 0.00%
Government Price Volume Pricing	•As above, and the quantity is greater than or equal to a quantity break •Use Volume Pricing is enabled in System Parameter Maintenance
Special Pricing Level Prices (1-6)	•Customer is set to a pricing level 1 through 6 in Customer Masterfile Maintenance
Special Pricing Level Prices Volume Pricing	•As above, and the quantity is greater than or equal to a quantity break •Use Volume Pricing is enabled in System Parameter Maintenance

Product Contract Prices	•Where a product contract has been specified in Customer Masterfile Maintenance
Dynamic Contract Price - All Product Groups - Inherited from Linked Account	•Where an Inherit Contract Prices From customer has been specified in Customer Masterfile Maintenance •Where an 'All Product Groups' Dynamic Contract Pricing entry exists for the contract pricing parent account. •The transaction date is between the start and end date of the Dynamic Contract Pricing entry. NOTE: 100% Discount Dynamic Prices will apply and a $0.00 sell price will be used.

Other Prices
Promotional Price	•The transaction date is between the start and end date of the promotional period. •If a contract price is found, the promo price will override the contract price based on the 'Promo Price to Override Contract' option in System Parameter Maintenance
Sheetmetal Colour Surcharge	•If the product is a sheetmetal product •If the product colour has a colour surcharge percentage NOTE: The surcharge is added to the last valid price found
Service Agreement Pricing - All Product Groups	•Where the transaction is linked to a service agreement •Where an 'All Product Groups' Dynamic Contract Pricing entry exists on the service agreement. •The transaction date is between the start and end date of the Dynamic Contract Pricing entry. NOTE: 100% Discount Dynamic Prices will apply and a $0.00 sell price will be used.
Service Agreement Pricing - Specific Product Group	•Where the transaction is linked to a service agreement •Where a Dynamic Contract Pricing entry exists for the product group on the service agreement. •The transaction date is between the start and end date of the Dynamic Contract Pricing entry.
